She is attracted to bright colors and likes to mix things up, often with catastrophic consequences. Dexters parents unaware of the giant laboratory underneath their home, Dexters mom and dad often get caught up in their sons experiments.

Mandark Dexters archrival, Mandark, is also a scientist. Unlike other kids, Dexter and Mandark compete in the area of science. Mandark, however, has a crush for Dexters sister, Dee Dee, but also a desire to wreck havoc in Dexters laboratory.
